Angels Of Libra Astromantics Glow In The Dark Vinyl Edition

"Astromantics" is a concept album by the Hamburg-based band Angels of Libra, released in 2024. The album narrates the story of the Astromantics, an alien species from the peaceful planet Astromides in the Andromeda Galaxy, located 2,480,000 light-years from Earth. This 14-track space opera blends retro-futuristic sci-fi themes with the band's signature soul and funk influences.

The album was recorded specifically for vinyl and is available in a limited edition of 250 hand-numbered copies on glow-in-the-dark vinyl. Each copy includes a printed inner sleeve and a double-sided poster. Notably, side B concludes with a locked groove.

To support the production and release of "Astromantics," Angels of Libra launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The campaign aimed to cover costs related to vinyl production, pressing, mastering, and the creation of a special music video for the lead single, "Ursa Major Space Station."

The band also released an AI-generated music video titled "The Battle of Ursa Major Space Station," which depicts the final battle between the Astromantics and the Saucer Men, aligning with the album's retro-futuristic sci-fi narrative.
