The Sexy Drugs describe their music tongue-in-cheek as "Hard Nipple Power Pop". This is to emphasise that they like to spice up their punky rock with pop melodies. Their eventful history began at the beginning of 2001 at the Fillmore in Kaiserslautern.After several line-up changes and three studio albums, the band signed with Barhill Records at the end of 2024. "Reckless Memories", the first The Sexy Drugs album to be released as a quartet, will be released capture their live energy and transfer it onto an album. "Reckless Memories" is an album about missed opportunities, old feelings and new difficulties and problems. It's about all the highs and lows in our lives. The four musicians wanted to grow as a band, even though the world seems to be collapsing at the same time. Escapism as a last chance. Or to put it another way: rock'n'roll is the answer. At least in part. And love anyway. More love, less hate.

To capture this character on the album, they recorded the entire album live in the rehearsal room over two weekends. It is rough and unadorned, but (also) straightforward and lively.

HALL OF THE MOUNTAIN KING is a trio from Saarbrücken (Germany) that came together in 2018 and whose members gained experience in bands such as Thrall, Compass, All Lies Died and Colaris. It was immediately clear to them that they didn't want to follow any trends and wanted to give the cold shoulder to standardized music. The first songs were still very experimental and were created during their discovery process. Nevertheless, they decided to release them as an EP. They have since been back in the studio. The result, "Revolted", will be released on 22.03.2024, containing a wild mixture of emocore, metal and sludge - available on vinyl with new songs on side A and some older ones on side B.
