The RoToTo history began in the early 1940s. Back then, the RoToTo founder returned from the USA with a knitting machine for socks in his luggage. His hometown Kouryo-cho in the Kitakatsuragi district of the Japanese prefecture Nara already had a reputation for producing Japan’s finest textiles, so a socks factory was just a piece of a jigsaw. It didn’t take too long until RoToTo was known for designing high-quality socks that offered the best comfort while being as functional as possible.
