INTIMSPRAY ist bereits seit den 80ern eine hartgesottene LIVE-BAND. Die Energie der Songs springt auch jetzt wieder unmittelbar auf das wachsende Publikum über. Nun ist das erste LIVE-Album von Intimspray in Produktion: "Intimspray Live - the CAFÉ CARINA SoUND, erscheint am 21.10.22 auf LP+CD/DSPS via Delle Records.Die Texte in hohem Maße sprachkünstlerisch und ohrwurmverdächtig. Das erste LIVE - Album von Intimspray ist ungeplant entstanden eigentlich. Ein routinemäßiger Mitschnitt zweier Konzerte im Juli 2021 im Café Carina in Wien entpuppte sich als geradezu prädestiniert, das Live-Feeling der Band auf Vinyl zu bannen. Die "London-Twins" zauberten aus den Mitschnitten einen perfekten britischen Sound-Mix und Horst Pfaffelmayer vom Goldchamber Mastering-Studio, in welchem die Band einen ebenso kongenialen Partner für das Endprodukt fand, gibt der Live-Platte den letzten Schliff.Die EP ,RELIGION" (Januar 2022) wurde von legendären George Horn (Creedence Clearwater Revival, Herbie Hancock, Dicks, Sly and the Family Stone, Bob Dylan usw.) als eine seiner letzten Arbeiten in den Fantasy Studios Berkeley gemastert, er verstarb am 26 August 2021.Bereits in ihren ersten Livekonzerten 2020 zeigte sich die alte Kraft der Band. Neue Homebase der Band ist nun Wien, wo Intimspray in den 80igern mehrmals zu Gast im U4 war. Und in Wien bot ihnen Thomas Ploner vom Café Carina (U-Bahnstation Josefstädter Straße) rasch wieder eine Bühne. Dort ist INTIMSPRAY und ihr Sound regelmäßig zu erleben. Es ist erstaunlich, wie viel Hit-Potential in dieser Musik steckt. Die stetig wachsende Fangemeinde - zunehmend findet sich junges Publikum an ihren Konzerten ein - singt die Hooks mit (u.a. bei "Religion" oder "Das ist Alles"). Sobald die Band in ihrem Outfit mit den Masken zum Song "Religion" die Bühne betritt, springt der Funke über.Sideline: Heinz D.
